Mbamgui exe install

Currently within my org. I am in the process of developping my own skills for various MS exams, but would like to take this as in some form of scripting on board too as I believe that it is a tool all engineers should posess in one form or another. Advantage of this is we dont have to goto the machine or disturb the user when installing software. It runs in the background. I would like to know if it is possible to do what everyone is suggesting and using PS to write scripts that will install software in this manner?

VBScript isn't being developed further by MS. It's possible to write a script that copies a file to a remote machine say, an installer and then launches that installer in the background - absolutely. My org is currently asking me to help them make server packages since SCCM doesn't currently support making windows R2 build-server packages , so that instead of spending a day waiting to click the next "next", we can just run this powershell script. I've tested it out, and I think it works. A bit steeper learning curve when it comes to making your own private packages often you want to install software you don't want the public to have, or at least avoid spreading your license.

I was wondering if you could post an example of how you would use powershell to run an exe or msi file to install it silently with switches. Or would it still be best to use a cmd script to do this?
